What Is Electromagnetic Stress (EMF's)?
Radiation waves coming from mobile phone masts, mobile phones, pylons, microwaves, wi-fi appliances, electricity pylons, computers, laptops, cordless phones etc etc.
Why can the radiation from mobiles be harmful?
Electromagnetic fields (EMF) play an essential role in the control of the biological activities of a human being. Our natural state of good health and feeling of well being prevails when our biological activity is in balance. The penetrative nature of electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones can intrude and disturb the human EMF and create a biological imbalance that interferes with the body's natural equilibrium. As a result, we may experience poor health and potential breakdown of immune response. At first, we are likely to notice such symptoms fatigue, lack of concentration, headaches, short-term memory loss, distorted vision, confusion and loss of strength. When we travel by plane or visit a hospital we are instructed to turn off our mobile phone and laptop computer because of the danger of interference that affects the normal functioning of sensitive instruments and electronic equipment. The same interference can affect humans since our biological activity is the most highly sophisticated and sensitive of all instruments.
Why is there an emphasis on the biological effect of radiation?
Experts now agree that there is strong evidence of the harmful non-thermal biological effect of radiation, yet only official tests to identify and measure the thermal effect using Specific Absorption Rates (SAR's) have been Government approved. These very limited tests however are of no assistance in assessing the biological noxiousness of the radiation.
What are all the possible side effects from mobile phone radiation and phone masts?
Possible side effects include nausea, fatigue, reduced concentration, tiredness, headaches, blurred vision, short term memory loss, muscle weakness and an impaired immune system. In addition, some scientists are concerned that such radiation may cause cancer, brain tumours and early senility.
What do the experts say?
In 1999 the Government set up the Independent Expert Group on Mobile Phones (IEGMP) which reported in 2000 under the Chairmanship of Sir William Stewart. This 160 page report (considered by many as "played down" in view of the lucrative auction of third generation wave bands), argued that it "could not rule out the existence of a potential health threat from mobile phones" and that, pending the outcome of further research, "a precautionary approach" with regard to the use of mobile phone technologies be adopted. It recommended restricted use particularly by children whose underdeveloped systems could be more susceptible to absorption and longer lifetime of exposure. A study published in May 2002 by the Department of Trade and Industry showed that devices to cut radiation from mobile phones can "significantly reduce" exposure to potentially harmful radiation. This was followed in June by the results of a groundbreaking, two-year study by scientists at the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority in Finland claiming that radiation from mobile phones can harm the brain. After carrying out tests for the first time on human cells rather than rats, the scientists found that even low-level emissions from handsets could damage the natural safety barrier protecting the brain from harmful substances in the blood. In 2005 the Board of the National Radiological Protection Board (now part of the Health Protection Agency) published a major document on mobile phones and health. It updated Sir William Stewart's earlier report and said that, while that there is no hard evidence at present that the health of the public, in general, is being affected adversely by the use of mobile phone technologies, uncertainties remain and a continued precautionary approach to their use is recommended.
What does the Government say about radiation from mobiles etc?
Although it does not make public statement about definite risk, the DTI (now the BERR) sponsored a testing report into SAR (thermal radiation) shielding technologies in June 2001. The World Health Organisation has recommended that a precautionary approach should be adopted by government and suggests that individuals might wish to limit their own or their children's exposure to radiation if they are concerned. It also supports further research on the topic.

What Is Geopathic Earth Stress?
Geopathic energies do not recognize boundaries, as they can pass through walls, windows and closed doors. The effects of GS undermine and weaken a person’s life force, thus causing ill health or even just ‘feeling under par’.
Examples of things that cause GS are not only ley lines (man-made energy lines) and disturbances caused by underground water (either flowing or stagnant), but also natural, geological structures such as ore deposits and man-made structures such as mining or large buildings, foundations, sewage and water pipes, underground transport systems.
Brief Technical Explanation.
The earth’s natural electromagnetic field has a frequency measured as about 7.8 HZ or Hertz. This is the well known and documented Schumann Resonance measured daily in seismology laboratories.
However, locations of geopathic stress have vibrations at much higher frequencies.
If the inner Earth's vibration of 7.8Hz crosses a water vein 60-150 metres underground, stress lines vibrating at up to 250 Hz can be created. Similar to EMFs, such frequency anomalies are said to cause disturbances in the immune system, behaviour and cell structure.
If the exposure to geopathic energies is short-lived, then in general the effects are transitory, although some people will show symptoms of tiredness, inattention and headaches when sitting in a geopathically stressed area for even one or two hours.
But imagine the cumulative effect of years spent sleeping in the same bedroom, or sitting in the same chair in the office, and you will realize that a person’s exposure to a particular form of detrimental energy could be devastating for their health and wellbeing.
What causes Geopathic Stress?
The earth’s core is molten metal and as it spins electric currents are created within these metals that produces a magnetic field. Man has evolved within the earth’s magnetic field, and can cope with the slight fluctuations from time to time caused by weather and the sun’s activity. But when the earth’s magnetic field is disturbed so that the background field we experience is different to normal, the human body can experience unusual stresses that lead to ill health or a slowing down of the normal healing processes.
In general, once Earth Acupuncture energy corrections have been done, they do not come undone again. An exception to this is when the client is living or working in an area of high Geopathic Stress, or if they have a major life trauma such as bereavement, car crash, divorce etc. In these cases, the person’s energy system may be so traumatised that the corrections will come undone and they will experience a reappearance of their original symptoms.
So what are the symptoms/effects of having GS?
The effect is gradual, involving a slow deterioration in health in those who are most susceptible to GS. As a result, they often find it difficult to feel happy, energetic, emotionally stable and physically well.
The most frequently experienced symptoms are:
• Disturbed sleep, waking often, strange dreams, wake feeling tired
• Babies and children fret and don’t sleep well
• Restlessness
• General tiredness
• ‘Sick building syndrome’
• Inability to get well and stay well
• Immune system problems
• Repeated miscarriages or infertility problems
• Birth defects
• Any other symptom, but especially ME, headaches, hyperactivity, some cancers
• A general feeling of something being not ‘quite right’ with a particular area or room
People vary in their susceptibility to GS, and which part of the body and for how long it is in contact with the energy. Different geopathic energies vibrate at different frequencies, so if a particular energy vibrates at the same frequency as a particular body organ, it will damage that organ.
